9 months old and 9 weeks seizure free! When people ask me how, all I can say is Jesus did it with the help of Haleigh’s Hope and Cannatol Rx. Avilyn has never been on pharmaceuticals. Ethan is 19 months old and was born with a very rare spinal tumor, in utero it grew to 1/3 of his total birth weight. Jacob Jr has gone from multiple seizures of multiple types a day on Keppra, Sabril, Topamax & Onfi, to almost 11 months’ worth of seizure free days being on Haleigh’s Hope!! Corbin has mitochondrial disease, end stage kidney failure, FPIES, and mast cell disorder. At 27m he is nonverbal, non-ambulatory, and is possibly going deaf in his left ear. Before starting HH he was on 2L oxygen 24/7, 13 medications, and was very often of in his own world. He was also very aggressive and anxious. HH has brought my baby back to me. He laughs, he wants to be touched. He isn’t nearly as sensory defensive and he is almost always in the here and now. We’re even weaning pain meds. We’re very thankful.

Tommy has LGS. He was having over 100 seizures a day. Since using the medical marijuana he now has one to two seizures a day, some days he has none.

Hi! My name is Joseph and I just turned 4. I live in Boston with my Mommy and Daddy. Hannah has KCNT1 gene mutation & malignant migrating partial epilepsy. This has caused her to have global delays and very difficult to control epilepsy. Before starting cannabis, Hannah could experience up to 500 seizures a day & was being hospitalized every few weeks for status seizures. Hawk suffers from seizures and other complications due to a massive brain hemorrhage at 3 weeks old. This is my daughter Genivive. She was born normal. When she was four months old she was diagnosed with leukemia. HALEIGH’S HOPE SAVED MY DAUGHTER’S LIFE. I say that with conviction. I was skeptical it was going to have an impact, but I was seriously wrong. The changes that have manifested in Rhythm are stunning.
Before Haleigh’s Hope, we were winding down our time in the Philippines. Rhythm was off all prior meds until we arrived in the US. We were extremely concerned about making the long trip from Manila to the United States. We held out hope and persisted with the Haleigh’s Hope, but I was getting worried the Haleigh’s Hope was not having the desired effect. As it turns out, the seizures she had that day were her last. On January 12th, 2017, we drove 17 hours from Illinois to Virginia. Rhythm did not have a single seizure. The next day, none. The next few days, none. I didn’t want to outwardly say it, but it looked like something special was happening. Weeks passed, and Rhythm not only had stopped having seizures, but was starting to re-develop with things like rolling over, eye contact and smiles and laughs.

Haleigh’s Hope is the only thing we are treating her with. This, without a doubt, has had a significant effect on Rhythm’s Infantile Spasms. Rhythm is Happy, Smiling, Active, Laughing. Thanks to Haleigh’s Hope, we have started to get our daughter back. We are grateful to the awesome people at the Flowering Hope Foundation for their guidance in its use.

These pictures tell a story. A story of parents trying their best to control a child’s seizures with the use of the choices they are given. I am not proud of that first picture. Five different maintenance medications used in hopes to control the seizures and keep my baby safe. Yes, seizures can cause death. It is called SUDEP and it has been my daily fear. Imagine checking on your child every time you wake up just to make sure he is alive! Parents should not have to prepare themselves for something like that

All of those were helping to keep him from having seizures most of the time at the expense of LONG list of side effects. My baby, under the age of 3 was taking these medications. Klonopin 3 times a day and extra if he needed it until we switched to Onfi. Both VERY addictive benzodiazepines. My 2-3 year old baby had withdrawals and is still having them. August 2015 we began the Ketogenic Diet Therapy and this allowed us to wean all of the maintenance medications except for the Onfi. It took 9 months to wean him off of the Onfi. Thankfully we are celebrating his last dose of Onfi as of 04-18-2017!!!

WHY should this be our only option?!?!?

Thankfully now we have a better more natural option. Leni’s Law went into effect in Alabama June 1, 2016. Now, within limits, we are able to treat our son with CBD oil. Upon researching, we decided that Haleigh’s Hope was now OUR hope. We began working with the neurologist to monitor our son while taking CBD oil as we began weaning his other medication. For the first time since his first abnormal EEG in February 2015 and less than 4 months after starting the CBD oil, the neurologist finally gave us the news that he was showing improvement December 2016.

The second picture is his course of treatment now. The Ketogenic Diet, Haleigh’s Hope and Diastat. We would like to ditch the Diastat for the natural alternative, Cannatol Rx which is what you can see in the third picture, however, the law says we can’t use it where we live. The law will not allow us to treat our baby naturally! Hopefully, this will change in the future once more and more people see what cannabis can do medically. I am prouder of that second picture knowing we are treating our son naturally and without all of the side effects of pharmaceuticals. I have more hope in what we can use naturally to treat our baby with thanks to Jason Cranford and his organic product Haleigh’s Hope! We have successfully weaned off all of his maintenance medications naturally and although he is not yet seizure free, we are headed in the right direction with Haleigh’s Hope and the Ketogenic Diet!
